The pandemic (2020 & 2021) shed some light on major gaps in the Iraqi market, especially the ability to adapt and exploit technologies. Many businesses suffered during this period as well as many people within these entities. Prior to the establishment of our company, the founder worked as a consultant for some businesses and coached individuals to survive this tough period. Working on solving business-related problems is challenging, exciting and very much needed. But this field of business requires high level of sophistication, organization and discipline.
For almost a year, the team worked on building the business model and the business plan to have a clear vision on the strategic level. We also worked on identifying and testing different types of tools and technologies for management, finance and marketing. Then we designed and tested our services internally and externally with real clients. Finally we linked everything together to form our system.
With a high passion for business she had valuable three years of experience during the peak of the global pandemic. She served in leadership, service operation, customer service, marketing coordination, and business development along with her biological science and biotech background.

Wameedh has previously participated in several initiatives and volunteered with NGOs in the business development field. He is a Baghdad Business School alumnus, which has inspired him to pursue a career in this industry.

She completed her academic study in engineering, and she is passionate about graphic design and business development. Prior to founding Business by Design, and for the past seven years, in his capacity as a Project Manager with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Iraq, he trained and worked with individuals and institutions nationwide to support the business ecosystem in Iraq.
